Hasbro has not yet released product images for the Black Series 6-Inch ARC Trooper, Mace Windu and General Grievous, but the entertainment images provided share the figures' inspiration from Tartakovsky's artwork. The figures are part of Walmart's Collector Con event, and while pre-orders are open, some are currently out of stock. Tartakovsky is also known for creating the Cartoon Network shows Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. The show ran for three seasons, featuring many front-line characters, and paved the way for the 2008 series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The new wave is designed to honor Tartakovsky's animated Clone Wars series, set between the live-action Star Wars prequel trilogy.
